Fields, Spencer Tracy, Jimmy Stewart, Bob Hope, Alfred Hitchcock, Grace Kelly, Greta Garbo, Frank Sinatra, Humphrey Bogart, Lucille Ball, Jack Nicholson, Whoopi Goldberg, Clint Eastwood, Tom Cruise, Madonna, and John Travolta — a veritable Who's Who list of Hollywood stars. It is even said that Elizabeth Taylor had 10 quarts of Chasen's chili sent to her in Rome while filming Cleopatra in 1962. She just couldn't get enough.
She isn't alone. People have been flocking to Chasen's for a nibble of their chili for over 60 years. Prepared by Chasen's Food Specialties from Dave's original recipe, Chasen's Chicken Chili is made with chicken breast meat and contains the finest, all-natural ingredients. It is slow-cooked and blended with vegetables, spices, and pinto beans.
Chicken Chili is packaged in boxes with Chasen's logo and an illustrated "photo" collage of the bow-tied restauranteur Dave Chasen greeting several mega-star Hollywood regulars.

In the 1920s, vaudevillian entertainer Dave Chasen got rave reviews for his act and for his terrific back-stage chili, which he fed to the troupe. In 1936 Dave decided to open up a restaurant just east of Beverly Hills, and the rest is history.
Chasen's original chili has been world famous ever since Elizabeth Taylor had 10 quarts of it shipped to her on location in Rome in 1962. Since then, Chasen's chili has become a world-renowned, classic, good, thick, rich chili. A perfect culinary delight.
